Pregnancy Brains!!!!

People ask alllll the time...How ya feeling? With a best friend who is also preggo & throwing up 24-7, I feel guilty saying this but I feel GREAT! I forget that I am preggers sometimes!! But there is one pregnancy side-effect that has me stumbling around everywhere...Pregnancy Brains!!! I have lost all ability to think, walk, and remember. Here's a *few* of my crazy mama stories.

Story 1: School just let out for the summer. I'm at home all day, doing nothing...IT. WAS. WONDER! Until one day I was watching some tv & I heard water running. I got up to see what was going on and I discovered that my bathtub was so close to running over that when I reached down to remove the drain, it ran over! I'm clueless, thinking who ran this bathwater...well obviously I did! I have no clue why, it was in the middle of the day & I had already showered for the day! Weird, I know!

Story 2: Get this..I trip over my TOES...not my feet, not my high heels, my toes. I have lost count at how many times my toes have got caught on something (bottom of door, rug, coffee table leg, etc) and I trip & fall! What a ding dong..who trips on their toes!

Story 3: This is pretty funny/scary! After a wedding that I was involved in, the wedding party stopped to take pics. We walked down a brick driveway to this beautiful home's backyard, I'm wearing my high heels(I'm preggo, not disabled, I can still wear high heels folks) so I'm walking along the driveway happily carrying my water bottle while EVERYONE else is chugging away their adult beverages, and somehow I am the one to fall!! Good thing J-Lo back there is heavily padded and I didn't hurt myself but it was scary b/c I was soo dizzy but hilarious b/c there were about 15 other people drinking, that could have fallen...but again..I am the one who looks like an idiot & falls!!

I get tongue tied ALL the time, I say stupid stuff that makes no sense, and I can't remember ANYTHING!!! I'll continue to post about more funny stories as they happen and we all know..they will happen!!! ;)

First Post

Hello Friends and Family!!! I have decided to start this blog mainly to share with everyone the journey through pregnancy for this first time mom & dad!! It is also my plan to use this blog as a 'diary' to be printed and added to our baby's book. Soooooo much has happened and there are already sooo many funny stories to tell about this pregnancy. So before I let another day go by I thought I'd start sharing and recording all my pregnancy stories. Since becoming pregnant I am very impatient (not that I was extremely patient before) and it doesn't take much to annoy me these days (aren't those 2 great attributes to have) so I apologize in advance if I go off in a crazy rant about something ridiculous. ;)
I'll end this blog on a baby fun fact...we're 15 weeks today!!! Our baby is the size of a naval orange and weighs 2.5 oz! AND we're excited to see Dr. H on Monday and hear our little peanut's heartbeat again!!
